Job summary

Alpineo Consulting seeks a Requirements & Test Automation Engineer to support the specification, verification and validation of software components in a safety-critical environment. You will define and maintain software requirements and traceability, and contribute to acceptance activities.

A key focus will be test automation using Java, JUnit and Jenkins within a continuous integration environment. You will design and execute tests, analyze results and defects, and work autonomously with rigor.

Qualifications

• Experience defining software requirements and traceability.
• Strong experience in software testing, test design and defect analysis.
• Background in safety-critical, real-time, or security-sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with standards (ED153, IEC61508, ISO12207) is a plus.

We are looking for a Requirements & Test Automation Engineer to support the specification, verification and validation of software components in a safety-critical environment.

You will define and maintain software requirements and traceability, design and execute manual and automated tests, analyse results and defects, and contribute to verification and acceptance activities. A key focus will be test automation using Java, JUnit and Jenkins within a continuous integration environment.

We are looking for an autonomous and rigorous engineer with experience in software requirements, testing and verification, ideally in safety- or mission-critical systems.

• Strong Java, JUnit and Jenkins experience
• Requirements management and requirements-to-test traceability
• Software testing, test design and defect analysis
• Experience in safety-critical, real-time or security-sensitive environments
• Python, Cucumber/Gherkin and relevant standards (ED153, IEC61508, ISO12207, etc.) are a plus
