Job summary

Alpineo Consulting is seeking a Requirement & Test Automation Engineer to join our team and work on ATM software/system devices for a major IT partner. You will participate in software specification, documentation writing and testing applications for the Air Traffic Management System.

You will work autonomously in an Agile team, collaborate with end users, and ensure compliance with regulatory quality levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a safety critical domain.
• Experience in writing software documentation and requirements.
• Ability to translate end-user needs into requirements and test cases.
• Knowledge of safety standards (ESARR6/EC482, ED153, IEC61508, ISO12207) is a plus.

ALPINEO is looking for a Requirement & Test Automation Engineer to join our team and work for our partner, a major IT company involved in ATM, on software/system devices. You will participate in software specification, documentation writing and testing Applications for the Air Traffic Management System.

Your Mission :

• You work autonomously in an Agile team and in continuous improvement spirit.
• You collaborate with the systems end users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
• You read and understand regulation rules and quality level that the products need to comply with.
• You read and understand Functional System Requirements provided by the Business Analyst.
• You write, review, and update the Equipment System Requirements and perform the traceability to the Functional System Requirements.
• You create and maintain some test cases providing coverage of Equipment System Requirements.
• You create and maintain automated tests using Python.
• You support writing, reviewing, and updating the Component Requirements and ensure the traceability to the Equipment System Requirements is correct.
• You support creating and maintaining some test cases providing coverage of Component Requirements.
• You have notions on how to create and maintain automated tests using JAVA, Java Custom Junit frameworks and Gherkin.
• You execute manual and automatic tests and report results.
• You analyze and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database (JIRA). You perform analysis of defects to find the root cause of problems.
• You synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.
• You perform formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test

Your profile :

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a safety critical domain.
• You have a proven experience in writing software documentation and requirements, and you have experience in system and software testing.
• You can learn the end-user terminology and understand the end user needs to be able to transcript them into requirements and test cases.
• You have a high analytical capacity.
• You are adaptable, autonomous, rigorous and you appreciate teamwork.
• You are organized with an ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively.
• You have high resistance to stress, and you are flexible.
• You have proven experience in testing automation tools using Python (experiences with JAVA, Junit and/or Gherkin are major advantages for this position)
• Computing experience in the air traffic control domain or other areas with real-time and security requirements, as well as experience with standards such as ESARR6/EC482, ED153, IEC61508 and ISO12207 are major advantages for this position.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
