Zusammenfassung

Laelaps AI is seeking a reliability and test infrastructure engineer to own end-to-end release gates from commit to robot. You will replace the current test answer with a full simulation environment and robust regression suites, enabling scalable hardware-in-the-loop testing across perception to locomotion.

You will work with a RoboAutonomy team, ensuring only validated builds reach customer sites, and contribute to a production-ready simulation platform and data-driven quality metrics.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in test, validation, reliability, SRE or platform engineering on a customer-facing product.
• Experience with a complex system at scale: autonomous driving, drones, industrial automation, medical devices or similar.
• Strong Python and/or C++, with solid CI/CD and containerised infrastructure skills.
• Hands-on with a robotics simulator run as production infrastructure: Isaac Sim preferred, Gazebo, MuJoCo or equivalent accepted.
• Comfortable owning cloud infrastructure and GPU orchestration.
• Sufficient hardware literacy to read timing problems or flaky sensor traces, and know when to hand it to hardware.

Aufgaben

• Own the path a code change takes from commit to robot, with evidence behind every gate.
• Build and maintain simulation-based testing infrastructure and CI for production-grade releases.
• Develop regression suites and scenario libraries to cover the on-robot stack from perception to locomotion.
• Implement hardware-in-the-loop rigs and bench automation for robust testing.
• Turn customer requirements into measurable tests and report results without softening metrics.
