Laelaps AI Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineer on Robot Autonomy to advance dependable navigation for autonomous robots across customer sites.

You will shape the navigation stack, select sensors, and optimize planning for real-world conditions, including diverse lighting, weather, and site layouts. The role requires hands-on experience with mobile robot navigation, strong C++ and Python skills, and a willingness to visit customer sites regularly.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or PhD in robotics, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.

• Design navigation and path-planning components for robust autonomy.
• Integrate sensors and localization data to improve traversability estimates.
• Analyze field data and iterate on navigation stack to handle real-world conditions.
• Predict dynamic obstacles (people/vehicles) and plan safe routes.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate on real robots and field tests.
