Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in ION trading platforms and commodity hedging to lead end-to-end analysis for complex trading systems. The role is a fully remote contract, focusing on requirements gathering, SIT/UAT coordination, production support, and post-implementation stabilization across front-to-back trade lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BA or Senior BA experience in IT applications, preferably in commodity trading.
• Hands-on experience with ION XTP or similar ION trading platforms.
• Functional/tech-functional with ION Openlink/Openlink Endur or related ETRM/CTRM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of commodity trading, hedging, and end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Experience with soft commodities (grains and seeds) is a plus.
• Experience coordinating SIT and UAT, defect management, and production support.
• Ability to document requirements, processes, and test artifacts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis for commodity trading and hedging initiatives from requirements to deployment.
• Document business processes, controls, and trade lifecycle activities.
• Translate needs into functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and vendors on solutions.
• Support trading, risk management, settlements, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT, plan tests, review results, and manage defects.
• Assist with deployment readiness, cutover, and post-go-live support.
