Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy in Switzerland is seeking a seasoned Procurement Lead to manage a team of procurement professionals and drive operational procurement excellence in support of our manufacturing and supply chain goals.

You will oversee requisitions, PO creation, expediting, and invoice resolution, while setting category strategies, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with engineering, production, logistics and finance to ensure timely, cost-effective supply.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Operational procurement experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as CIPS are a plus.
• English on negotiation level, German should be B1.

Aufgaben

• Manage and mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee the end-to-end operational procurement process, including requisitioning, purchase order creation, expediting, and invoice resolution.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize delivery performance for assigned categories.
• Monitor key procurement metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, logistics, finance, planning ) to understand their needs and ensure timely and effective supply.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging best practices and technology.
• Resolve complex supplier issues effectively and efficiently.
