Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive end-to-end operational procurement across manufacturing, engineering, and logistics. You will mentor a team, optimize requisitions to invoices, and shape strategies to improve delivery performance.

The role requires 5–7 years in procurement, with at least 2 years in leadership, and strong SAP proficiency. Fluency in English for negotiations and German at B1 are desirable. Hybrid or on-site work options may apply.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, ideally with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in operational procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supplier relationship management.
• Certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent are a plus.
• English on negotiation level, German should be B1.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to ensure efficient procurement activities.
• Oversee end-to-end operational procurement process, including requisitioning, PO creation, expediting, and invoice resolution.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize delivery performance for assigned categories.
• Monitor procurement metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, logistics, finance, planning) to ensure timely supply.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement leveraging best practices and technology.
• Resolve complex supplier issues effectively and efficiently.
