Global multi-energy company is seeking a Railway Homologation & Certification Engineer to manage end-to-end approval and certification across markets. You will independently oversee dossiers, coordinate with Engineering, Testing and Quality teams, and liaise with authorities and certification bodies.

The role requires a degree in engineering and proven experience with railway homologation, TSIs and national processes. English is mandatory; German or other languages are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Railway Engineering.
• Experience in homologation, certification or authorization of railway vehicles or machinery.
• Ability to manage a homologation dossier from start to final approval.
• Knowledge of railway regulatory environment and standards.
• Familiarity with national authorities and certification bodies.
• Knowledge of TSIs, NoBo/DeBo/AsBo processes is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end homologation and certification processes for railway machinery.
• Identify regulatory, normative and country-specific requirements for the market.
• Define the homologation strategy and certify plan.
• Prepare, structure and maintain the technical documentation for approvals.
• Coordinate collection of documents, calculations, test results and evidence with Engineering, Testing and Quality teams.
• Coordinate communication with authorities, assessment bodies and certification organizations.
• Follow up on open points and drive to final approval.
• Assess impact of technical changes on the homologation dossier.
• Provide regulatory and homologation expertise to project teams.
