Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Middle Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) based in Switzerland for a fully remote role. You will own backend systems, deliver features from concept to production, and focus on reliability and code quality in an AI-first environment.

You will collaborate in an international team, maintain content processing and merchant administration tools, write automated tests, and contribute to CI/CD improvements. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of backend or full-stack experience.
• Hands-on Ruby on Rails production applications.
• 2–5 years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code) or similar.
• Strong English communication in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and develop core backend systems.
• Deliver roadmap features end-to-end from planning to production.
• Apply an AI-first development approach using Claude Code or similar tools.
• Refactor and improve existing codebases for maintainability.
• Write and maintain automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
