Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Solutions Architect based in Switzerland to shape the technical direction of client projects and internal products. The role combines hands-on engineering with business judgment and requires cloud-native design, mentoring, and collaboration with executives.

The position is fully remote, with flexible hours and opportunities to work on modern tech stacks. Strong English, 10+ years of experience, and experience in distributed teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development, including architecture leadership.
• Hands-on coding with PR reviews, prototyping, and delivery.
• Experience with AI-powered engineering and AI adoption in the SDLC.
• Proven design of distributed, cloud-native, scalable systems.
• Product ownership from problem definition to launch and iteration.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability to work within the PST time zone.
• Experience with remote, distributed teams.
• Strong communication, mentoring and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Share ownership of technical strategy, architectural standards, engineering priorities, and technology direction.
• Own roadmaps for internal products, prioritizing initiatives by user needs and business value.
• Bring a product-focused approach to client projects by challenging requirements and delivering business outcomes.
• Design solution architectures for new client projects and internal products from discovery through delivery.
• Participate in sales and pre-sales discussions, helping scope projects and estimate effort.
• Review and challenge architectural decisions and provide hands-on support for high-risk problems.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and AI adoption based on cost, risk, scalability, ROI.
• Represent engineering to executive leaders and client stakeholders.
• Mentor tech leads and engineers while raising standards for code quality and delivery.
• Contribute to engineering work through reviews, prototypes and investigations.
