Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Engineer (Fractional) based in Switzerland to elevate an established tech organization’s security posture. You will shape strategy, establish practical controls, and prioritize initiatives based on risk and impact.

You will work across cloud and application security, privacy, and governance, partnering with IT leadership and engineering to drive secure coding, DevSecOps, and compliant practices across European, Asian, and Australian operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud security and DevSecOps.
• Familiarity with governance, risk management, GDPR and related frameworks.
• Experience with external security reviews, client assessments, or vendor audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a 12-month security roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Mentor IT leadership and engineering teams on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Assess and strengthen cloud, CI/CD, identity, and endpoint security controls.
