Albatross is seeking a qualified lawyer to own contracts end-to-end—from NDA to DPAs and growth partnerships—across Europe and beyond. You will draft, negotiate, and close agreements rapidly while maintaining simplicity and business clarity.

You will also lead GDPR, Swiss FADP, EU AI Act compliance and data protection reviews with Engineering and Sales. The role is fully remote across Europe, reporting to the CEO; you will collaborate with multiple teams to align legal terms with the company’s

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years in a top-tier firm and in-house at a tech company.
• Negotiated technology contracts including licensing, API and SaaS.
• Writes simple contracts and short offers; avoids unnecessary pages.
• Understands API data flows; can translate them into terms.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, international transfers, EU AI Act; Swiss law governs.
• Owns work; can decide risks and when to hire outside counsel.
• Experience drafting in English at native level; cross-border work.

Responsabilités

• Own every customer contract end to end: NDA, pilots, production agreements, DPAs, and partnerships.
• Build and own the legal frameworks for the go-to-market team: templates and playbook.
• Own the data and model terms in every agreement: what is processed and owned.
• Lead data protection and AI compliance: GDPR, FADP, EU AI Act, US privacy law.
• Run security and compliance reviews with Engineering: DPIAs, SOC 2, vendor packs.
• Partner with CEO, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering in deal rooms.
• Manage corporate/investor docs and multi-country employment matters.
