Job summary

Albatross AI is seeking an experienced lawyer to own contracts end-to-end, from NDA to data processing agreements, across multiple regions. You will build templates, playbooks and a trusted negotiation playbook to enable fast, safe deals with enterprise customers worldwide.

You will lead data protection and AI compliance, ensuring the language matches how the tech actually works, while maintaining a lean, business-friendly contract stack. This is a Europe-wide remote role reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 6+ years in M&A, venture or technology
• Negotiated technology contracts with enterprise counsel
• Writes contracts that are short, clear and business-friendly
• Can read API specs and data flow; defines what is processed, learned and owned
• Native-level English; eligible to work in Europe

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end contracting process: NDA, pilots, production, DPAs, GTCs and partnerships
• Create and maintain go-to-market legal templates, playbooks and positions
• Lead data protection and AI compliance discussions (GDPR, FADP, EU AI Act)
• Coordinate security/compliance reviews with engineering and enterprise customers
• Advise CEO, sales, customer success and engineering in deal rooms to reflect tech realities
• Manage corporate and investor docs, multi-country employment, IP
• Ensure contracts are short and scalable, with outside counsel only when needed
