Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill an Engineering Manager, Automation Intelligence role based in Switzerland. You will lead an AI-driven platform to distinguish legitimate AI agents from automated traffic, guiding a small team through beta to commercial launch in a remote setting.

You will own the roadmap, define reliability targets, and establish a quality framework for detection and classification, while collaborating with product and security partners to ensure scalable, secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in bot detection, fraud prevention, or web security domains is highly valued.
• Strong ability to assess technical designs, PRs, and engineering trade-offs.
• Proven track record of delivering products from beta to commercial launch.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI coding agents and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap from beta through GA and standalone launch.
• Define service reliability targets including SLOs, throughput, latency, and availability.
• Establish a continuous detection quality framework with testing, regression suites, and monitoring.
• Guide detection capabilities for AI agents, automation, and browser frameworks.
• Manage staged rollouts with feature flags, rollbacks, and customer feedback loops.
• Lead, coach, and grow a small team of senior engineers and plan for future hires.
• Set engineering standards, review processes, ownership, and performance benchmarks.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and reduce dependencies for independent deployment.
• Lead AI-native development workflows with human oversight and responsible tooling.
• Measure and communicate engineering progress, trade-offs, and launch readiness to leadership.
