Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Counsel, Offboarding & Litigation based in Switzerland to lead complex employment offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will guide internal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements while developing dispute resolution strategies.

You will draft notices, separations, and evidence, assess risk, and advise on commercial implications.

Qualifications

• Law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and active Bar admission in an applicable EMEA jurisdiction.
• 6–10 years of post-qualification employment law experience in EMEA, with hands-on litigation exposure.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA employment legislation, including termination procedures and due process.
• Experience guiding external counsel and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end offboarding, pre-litigation and litigation matters across EMEA.
• Manage disciplinary processes, statutory filings, and employment disputes in multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft termination notices, separation agreements and legal submissions.
• Oversee hearings, mediation, arbitration and litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with HR, product, operations and commercial teams on compliance and process improvements.
