Zusammenfassung

embecta is seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel based in the Canton of Vaud to independently manage compliance matters across EMEA and LATAM, providing practical legal and regulatory advice while coordinating with Global Legal and Compliance SMEs. The role focuses on privacy, ABAC, and commercial support for regional business activities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in law firms or large corporate legal teams, fluent Business English, and strong drafting and negotiation

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience in a law firm and/or legal department of a larger enterprise.
• Fluent Business English both spoken and written; other languages a plus (German, French or Spanish).
• Self-starter with ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.

Aufgaben

• Independently manage commercial compliance matters across EMEA & LATAM, including assessing country-specific requirements and developing local/regional policies.
• Review and assess submissions related to healthcare professionals, institutions and government officials for compliance.
• Act as regional point of contact for Global Compliance, including templates and guidance for agreements with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Develop and deliver training for business partners to support compliance initiatives.
• Co-develop and maintain regional compliance dashboards and manage periodic reporting.
