Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd in Zurich seeks a Senior Quality Management professional to lead service and project quality across Eastern Europe, Ukraine, and Switzerland. You will coordinate with engineering and service teams to resolve complex issues in GIS and GCB equipment, driving recovery projects and ensuring reliability of energy infrastructure.

You will interface with customers, translate findings into repair actions, manage international stakeholders, and travel 10-20% to regions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Power Systems or IT).
• Experience in project management, service operations, installation, maintenance, or repair of high-voltage equipment.
• Knowledge of GIS, GCB, or related high-voltage equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating complex technical projects with international teams.
• Fluency in Ukrainian, Russian, and English is mandatory.
• German language skills are a strong advantage.
• Excellent technical writing for reports in Ukrainian and Russian.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer interface for quality and service in Eastern Europe, focusing on Ukraine.
• Coordinate repair, refurbishment, and recovery activities from damage assessment to project completion.
• Support field service teams remotely during inspections and troubleshooting.
• Prepare damage assessment reports and repair recommendations in Ukrainian and Russian.
• Communicate findings and repair proposals between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Travel within Eastern Europe and Ukraine as required.
