Proclinical is recruiting a Principal Scientist in Immunology to lead breakthrough work in inflammation and biologics discovery. You will shape therapeutic approaches from target identification to preclinical development and mentor a talented team of scientists.

You will oversee multidisciplinary programmes spanning target identification, pharmacology, translational research and antibody development, combining hands-on science with leadership to advance novel therapies.

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology or related field with 5+ years in inflammation or biologics.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience in scientific teams.
• Proven record in publishing peer-reviewed work.
• Experience leading target identification to preclinical programs.
• Experience with CROs and external partners.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of scientists and drive scientific delivery.
• Design and interpret in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies.
• Advance autoimmune and inflammatory disease programs.
• Develop immune-based assays for target validation and antibody discovery.
• Collaborate across immunology, translational medicine, protein engineering, biomarkers and clinical development.
• Coordinate efficacy and pharmacology studies with CROs.
• Implement endpoint and mechanism-of-action studies, including ex vivo profiling.
• Identify project risks and influence strategy.
• Contribute to publications, patents, regulatory docs and due diligence.
• Represent programmes at conferences and collaborations.
