Roche’s Immunology team in pRED focuses on identifying and developing innovative treatments for inflammatory diseases. You will lead strategy and cross-functional teams to advance targets from discovery to IND-enabling stages, guiding preclinical studies and external collaborations.

The role requires a PhD in Life Sciences with 10+ years in pharma, strong leadership, and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

Formación

• PhD in Life Sciences with >10 years in pharma/biotech.
• Deep disease biology expertise in inflammatory diseases.
• Proven drug discovery leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong publications in high-impact journals.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the scientific strategy for target identification and validation in inflammatory diseases.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive pipeline programs from discovery to IND-enabling stages.
• Direct, oversee and interpret preclinical studies for target validation and characterization.
• Evaluate external licensing opportunities and collaborations and present findings to leadership.
• Mentor and develop scientists and postdocs to foster collaboration and scientific rigor.
