Zusammenfassung

Hyperscale Power in Zürich, Switzerland, seeks a Test Engineer to design and execute test plans for our power conversion systems. You will build test setups and work closely with Power Electronics, Firmware, EMC/Compliance and Mechanical engineers to validate hardware and firmware from prototype to production.

The role offers hands-on lab work, documentation, and collaboration with engineering leadership to shape the test strategy at an early stage.

Qualifikationen

• BSc / MSc in electrical engineering or comparable education.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering for power electronics.
• Experience with medium-voltage high-power test setups and lab safety practices.
• Familiarity with test automation and scripting (Python).
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Aufgaben

• Design and execute test plans for AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
• Build and maintain test setups for prototype, pilot and production units.
• Support prototype validation and target-parameter verification.
• Support qualification testing for Alpha customer deployments and volume delivery.
• Develop test automation scripts and tools to increase test coverage.
• Collaborate with Power Electronics, Firmware, EMC/Compliance and Mechanical teams to diagnose failures.
• Document test procedures, results and reports; maintain traceability for certification.
• Define and specify end-of-line test equipment for volume production.
• Support field testing and diagnostics at customer sites as needed.
