Zusammenfassung

MagnebotiX AG in Zürich, Switzerland, is looking for a power electronics engineer to own the development of our next-generation drive electronics from concept through certification and production. The role is on-site in Zurich, 60-80% and starts as an internship with a clear path to a permanent position.

You will design power stages, firmware, and PCB layouts, and work across the full development cycle with our small, autonomous team, reporting to the CTO and Head of R&D.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, mechatronics, robotics or related field.
• Strong background in converter topologies, gate driving, current control, thermal management, and EMC.
• Experience with PCB design and embedded firmware (C/C++).

Aufgaben

• Own full development of power electronics from prototype to certified product.
• Design power stages, control loops, and embedded firmware for real-time operation.
• Manage the full development cycle: schematics, PCB layout, thermal design, enclosure, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare designs for small-batch manufacturing and support production.
• Collaborate with CTO and Head of R&D.
• Shape electronics engineering approach as the first dedicated domain in the company.
