Zusammenfassung

The Emerald Group is seeking a Head of Reinsurance Analytics to lead the Analytics Reinsurance department and shape analytics capabilities for the group’s global reinsurance business.

You will drive the strategic and operational development of Actuarial, CAT Modelling and Portfolio Modelling and collaborate closely with the Executive Board, Underwriting and Risk Management.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Geosciences or comparable discipline.
• Completed actuarial qualification, e.g. SAV or DAV.
• Several years of leadership experience in an analytics-driven function at a primary insurer, reinsurer or reinsurance broker.
• Proven experience collaborating with Executive Boards, Underwriting, Risk Management and other senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement the analytics strategy for the Group’s global reinsurance business.
• Design and implement a cross-location Analytics Target Operating Model for all reinsurance risk carriers within the Group.
• Provide functional leadership and further develop the Analytics Reinsurance department including Actuarial, CAT Modelling and Portfolio Modelling functions.
• Advance actuarial methods and risk models for the global P&C and Specialty Lines portfolio.
• Enhance data- and model-driven decision support in close collaboration with Underwriting, Risk Management and the Executive Committee.
