World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO seeks a coordinator to deliver international technical cooperation activities supporting the deployment of PCT online services and ePCT, including training and capacity-building for IP offices and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes outreach, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of digital tools across international IP frameworks, with a focus on measurable adoption and user satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• First-level university degree, preferably in law, business, international relations, international development, computer science, science, engineering, languages, or another closely related field.
• Specialization or further qualification in intellectual property law.
• Specialized training or certification in project management, capacity building, or international cooperation.
• At least six years of progressively responsible and relevant experience, including in the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
• Experience in development-oriented activities.
• Experience in capacity-building, stakeholder engagement, and delivering training/outreach related to IP.
• Experience in PCT processing and user support.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of other PCT publication languages.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and monitor customer-centric capacity-building and outreach initiatives that promote ePCT and other PCT Online services, tailored to the needs of Member States and IP Offices.
• Engage proactively with PCT Member States, IP Offices and regional organizations to support deployment and enhancement of ePCT and related online platforms.
• Represent the Organization at national, international, and regional meetings and deliver presentations about ePCT and other PCT tools.
• Provide continuing user support, including resolving difficult problems and advising on new techniques for data exchange and use of PCT tools.
• Develop and update ePCT related training materials, tutorials, and promotional resources.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted promotion strategies for ePCT and related systems.
• Prepare internal reports and documents, including proposals for promotional material and social media content.
• Foster a culture of high-quality customer-focused services and address issues before they impact users.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Section.
