Lever, Inc. is seeking a Payment Analyst in Switzerland to own the payment funnel health, investigate performance across PSPs, and translate complex payment data into actionable insights for Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud teams.

You will build dashboards and alerts, drive root-cause investigations, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve authorization and conversion in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on understanding of payment funnels and operations including concepts like interchange, decline codes, FX, tokenization, 3DS, and fraud fundamentals.
• Experience performing root-cause analysis on funnel drops, declines, or performance issues.
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong investigative mindset with initiative to explore issues independently.

Aufgaben

• Take diagnostic ownership of checkout and payment funnel health, proactively identifying alerts, anomalies, insights, and defects before they become business-critical.
• Lead root-cause investigations into funnel drop-offs and payment declines, distinguishing technical issues from user-behavior patterns.
• Analyze authorization rates, decline codes, payment performance, and other funnel metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Investigate performance across multiple payment service providers and identify differences, outages, or recurring issues.
• Support regular funnel reporting for cross-functional stakeholders, translating payment data into insights and recommendations to improve authorization rates and conversion.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud teams to investigate payment issues and outages.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of payments knowledge.
• Build and improve dashboards, alerts, reporting, and diagnostic processes for better visibility into payment funnel performance.
• Develop into a trusted point of contact for payment funnel health, establishing best practices within the team.
• Work proactively in evolving environments, creating practical solutions from first principles.
