Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a PAT Lead to drive implementation of analytical techniques across our manufacturing chain, focusing on AI-driven PAT applications from lab to pilot scale and into production. You will partner with Swiss sites and global teams to strengthen capabilities and optimize processes.

The role requires a chemistry/engineering/analytical science background with 3–5 years in PAT or related fields, and strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Science, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in PAT or closely related field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and QC processes.
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead local PAT activities and coordinate the local PAT team.
• Define, develop, and continuously improve local PAT capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to apply PAT techniques across manufacturing processes.
• Act as the contact with Swiss manufacturing sites and align with global PAT strategy.
• Shape the future direction of PAT and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Collaborate with site teams to strengthen PAT capabilities across Syngenta.
