Job summary

FMC Agricultural Solutions in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead the AI Tech Center's Process Engineering team. You will drive process development, scale-up, industrialization and technology transfer for NPI and mature products, delivering safe, robust and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

With 10+ years in agrochemicals or related fields and a strong track record in process safety and innovation, you will shape the manufacturing technology roadmap,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; PhD is an advantage.
• 10+ years in agrochemicals/pharmaceuticals/fine chemicals with process development and scale-up experience.
• Proven line-management experience leading engineers and managing performance.
• Track record in NPI, technology transfer and process innovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of process safety, techno-economic assessment and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Process Engineers and Senior Process Engineers.
• Define and prioritize an engineering innovation portfolio aligned with NPI and roadmaps.
• Lead activities from early-stage process development through pilot validation, scale-up and industrialization.
• Ensure engineering readiness and technical delivery for NPI and support tech transfer of products.
• Drive step-change innovations in capacity, yield, safety, robustness, sustainability and cost.
• Oversee conceptual engineering and basic design for capital projects.
• Establish engineering standards and process safety practices across development and major changes.
• Provide technical direction and promote cross-functional collaboration.
