The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Interpreter role is based in Afghanistan, with mobile assignments across various sites. • Experience in interpretation or translation is an advantage.
• 2 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
• Willingness to work in humanitarian contexts and challenging environments.

Aufgaben

• Provide oral interpretation between Pashto/Dari and English during confidential interviews and other interactions.
• Translate Pashto/Dari materials into English and vice versa as needed.
• Analyze conditions related to detention, security and humanitarian contexts and report findings.
• Support other protection activities as required.
