Lonza is seeking an Automation Engineer MES/DeltaV for its Visp, Switzerland site. You will implement, optimize, and support MES and DeltaV processes within biopharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring production efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality outcomes.

The role is fully site-based, requiring close collaboration across Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, and Quality teams. You will develop validation records, provide end-user training, and drive continuous

Qualifikationen

• Experience in regulated pharma manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of MES platforms including Werum PAS-X or PharmaSuite.
• Experience with DeltaV or other distributed control systems.
• Understanding of GMP, computerised system validation and qualification activities.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and validate MES recipes and DeltaV control strategies for compliant biopharma manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, Engineering, and Quality teams for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot MES and DeltaV issues to minimize production disruptions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation in line with GMP requirements.
• Train end users and provide ongoing system expertise.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and automation performance.
• Support adoption of new digital manufacturing technologies.
