Adaptyv in Lausanne, Switzerland is seeking a hands-on Lab Operations Associate to manage stock, ordering, shipping, and instrument maintenance in our growing automated biology lab.

You will work closely with the Lab Manager and scientists to keep reagents on hand, track inventory, schedule maintenance, and help on-site setup in a fast-paced startup, where French and English are useful. This is an on-site role with relocation flexibility and growth potential.

Qualificações

• Hands-on lab experience in biotech or research setting.
• Excellent organizational skills for tracking orders, expiry dates, and maintenance.
• Ability to spot stockouts and maintenance issues before they occur.
• Comfort with physical tasks: unpacking, moving dry ice, organizing freezers.
• Strong comfort with technology and lab software; interest in automation.
• Adaptability to a startup environment with evolving processes.
• Motivation to contribute to a mission to speed biology.
• Based in Lausanne or willing to relocate; French and English useful.

Responsabilidades

• Keep the lab stocked: receive deliveries, store in proper freezers, reflect inventory in system.
• Run day-to-day ordering and chasing late deliveries; correct wrong arrivals.
• Handle shipping of samples, reagents, and equipment, including cold chain requirements.
• Support scientists at the bench and manage materials in lab software.
• Coordinate instrument servicing, calibration, and fast on-site repairs.
• Maintain safety and organization, including chemical inventory and waste disposal.
• Keep the office running: supplies, onboarding setups, team events.
• Assist in setting up new lab space as we expand.
