Job summary

SKIDATA is looking for a field service technician to install, commission, and maintain parking and access systems at customer sites across German-speaking Switzerland. You will diagnose faults on-site and restore services quickly, with updates and maintenance carried out to ensure stable operation.

The role combines electrical engineering with IT/network skills. You will travel across the region, support customers in daily operations, document work clearly, and participate in on-call coverage

Qualifications

• Technical training in electrical fields with practical experience.
• Good knowledge of IT and networks.
• Willingness to travel in German-speaking Switzerland and hold a valid B driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission parking and access systems at customer sites.
• Identify faults on site and restore operation quickly.
• Perform updates and adjustments to keep systems stable.
• Provide clear technical support to customers on daily operations.
• Document work clearly and comprehensively.
• Be part of the on-call service for after-hours assignments.
