Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data center or field support.
• Knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, Ethernet and fiber cabling, patch panels.
• Experience with remote management tools (iDRAC, iLO, or IPMI).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and be on-call.

Aufgaben

• Install, rack, and configure servers, switches, routers, and other IT equipment.
• Perform power cycling, hardware diagnostics, and component upgrades.
• Install and patch Ethernet and fiber cables; troubleshoot physical connectivity.
• Serve as on-site technician for remote IT teams; report status and hardware issues.
• Handle backup tape loading/unloading and resolve media-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for installations and replacements; assist with site surveys for power, cooling, and cabling.
• Maintain asset inventory and update network diagrams and rack layouts.
