Job summary

CERN is seeking an ATLAS Muon LS3 Integration and Installation Manager to coordinate activities during LS3 (2026–2030). You will ensure cross-team coordination, monitor progress, and report on execution to keep Muon upgrades on schedule. This role requires close collaboration with ATLAS TC andMuons sub-projects.

The position emphasizes planning, documentation, and proactive issue resolution in a complex scientific facility environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent relevant experience in Physics or related field.
• Proven experience coordinating large-scale detector projects.
• Experience planning multi-team programs and managing priorities.
• Familiarity with safety systems and large scientific facilities is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and integration across Muon projects and monitor progress.
• Liaise between Muon sub-projects and ATLAS TC with regular status reports.
• Develop and monitor the integrated LS3 schedule in collaboration with ATLAS TC.
• Coordinate technical activities at the UX15 cavern and oversee interfaces.
