Strativ Group is seeking a senior aerospace engineer to take significant technical ownership of a next‑generation orbital transportation vehicle. This role is hands‑on and requires a proven track record of owning complex flight hardware through development, qualification and towards flight.

You will lead vehicle architecture, manage major structural systems, coordinate with suppliers, mentor engineers and drive reviews and testing.

Qualifikationen

• Experience owning complex aerospace hardware and driving hardware from concept through flight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary design reviews and qualification activities.
• Ability to mentor engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement.

I'm working with a fast-growing European space company developing a next-generation orbital transportation vehicle, and we're looking for a senior engineer to take significant technical ownership of the vehicle as it moves through development, qualification and towards flight.

This isn't a pure management position. We're looking for someone who has personally owned complex aerospace hardware and is still comfortable getting into the engineering detail.

What you'll be doing:

• Take technical ownership across the vehicle and its major structural systems
• Drive vehicle-level architecture, trades and key engineering decisions
• Own major primary structures and propulsion/structural interfaces
• Lead hardware from requirements and preliminary design through manufacturing, integration and qualification
• Resolve multidisciplinary challenges across structures, propulsion, avionics, GNC and manufacturing
• Work directly with suppliers on critical flight hardware
• Lead design reviews, testing and qualification activities
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers while remaining hands‑on

We're particularly interested in engineers with experience in:

• Launch vehicles, upper stages, lunar vehicles, spacecraft or orbital transfer vehicles
• Large primary structures and load‑path development
• Propellant tanks, pressure structures, thrust structures or propulsion interfaces
• Structural design and analysis
• Manufacturing and production support
• Qualification and environmental testing
• Supplier technical ownership
• Taking flight‑critical hardware from concept through build, test and flight
