DPhi Space Sarl is a Swiss startup building intelligence infrastructure in space, turning satellites into inference servers and connecting space to the cloud on Earth. We are seeking motivated engineers to join our team to cover core competencies from design to validation.

The roles are open for different levels of seniority. Essential skills include teamwork, spacecraft design techniques, CAD/FEM tools (SolidWorks/Ansys), rapid prototyping, and a degree in engineering.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering or science.
• Experience with spacecraft design techniques and processes for space or adjacent disciplines is a plus.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) and FEM software (Ansys or similar).
• Experience in rapid prototyping and experimental design verification.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to adapt to evolving constraints.

DPhi Space is a Swiss startup building the intelligence infrastructure in space by turning satellites into inference servers and connecting space to the cloud on Earth.

The team launched a first demonstrator into space in March 2025 followed by the second one in March 2026. The company is on a track to continue the yearly launch cycle with the next system planned to launch in 2027.

For this mission, we are looking for motivated engineers to join the company.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking at covering the following competencies with multiple team members. You do not need to excel at all of them.

• Mechanical design and structural analysis
• System level thermal design and analysis
• Prototyping and early design validation through experiments
• Bring a project from design to manufacturing by coordinating with manufacturing partners
• Plan and perform an environmental testing campaign
• Interface with other engineers to ensure the system's integrity in all disciplines

What Will Make You Successful

• The ability to work in a team
• Experience in spacecraft design techniques and processes for space or adjacent disciplines
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) and FEM software (Ansys or similar)
• Experience in rapid prototyping and experimental design verification
• University or HES degree in any relevant engineering or science field
• Problem‑solving mindset and the ability to work with evolving constraints
• Language: Fluency in English is a must; French is an asset
