FORFIRM is seeking an experienced Middle DevOps Engineer to contribute to complex infrastructure projects for Swiss and European clients. The role demands deep UNIX/Linux expertise, middleware know-how, and strong automation skills.

The candidate should be autonomous, collaborative, and capable of working within cross-functional teams on large-scale systems. Travel to Ticino or nearby border areas may be required; fully remote work is not offered.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of engineering and administration of large-scale UNIX environments.
• Strong Linux administration experience across RHEL and Debian variants.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting; able to extend existing automation solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting; familiar with Istio and microservices is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere, Open Liberty, and related middleware across development, test, and production environments.
• Support the full application lifecycle including packaging and deployment across multiple environments.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform; develop automation scripts in Bash and Python.
