Job summary

MF Group in Chiasso, Switzerland seeks a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to design, automate, and operate CI/CD pipelines and cloud-ready infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. You will own platform topics, drive DevOps adoption, and bridge development with operations from our Chiasso location.

This role emphasizes automating repetitive tasks, security hardening, and contributing to reliable, scalable deployments while collaborating across teams to modernize software delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on DevOps/platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/Jenkins).
• Experience running containerized workloads on Kubernetes and Linux environments.
• Strong experience with Ansible; experience with Terraform/Packer or similar tools.
• Experience with production delivery platforms, troubleshooting, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI) with development teams to optimize build, test, and release workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Code tooling like Ansible and Packer for cloud-ready environments.
• Deploy, operate, and evolve containerized workloads on Kubernetes and migrate services from VMs to containers.
• Improve observability and monitoring and participate in incident handling and on-call support.
• Own security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation across infra and pipelines.
• Define and maintain infrastructure standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
