Job summary

FORFIRM CONSULTING SAGL in Lugano seeks a technically skilled professional to join the Workload Automation and Managed File Transfer team, focusing on systems administration and infrastructure operations.

You will manage, monitor, and improve enterprise scheduling and file transfer platforms, contribute to upgrades and migrations, and collaborate with security and vendor teams to evolve the technology landscape.

Qualifications

Experience in System Engineering or Infrastructure Operations.
Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
Experience with Workload Automation and/or Managed File Transfer platforms.
Knowledge of secure file transfer and encryption technologies (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SSH, TLS, PGP/GPG).
Scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of networking concepts and system integration.
Professional proficiency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

Manage and support enterprise Scheduling and Managed File Transfer platforms.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs, workflows, batch processes, and file transfer flows.
Handle incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical support to internal teams.
Administer secure communication technologies, including SFTP, HTTPS, SSH, TLS, certificates, and PGP/GPG.
Develop automation solutions, scripts, and integrations to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new solutions.
Maintain technical documentation and support internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with security standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
