Job summary
MSF OCG is seeking a Medical Programme Manager (RMP) for Cell 1 to ensure coherent medical support in field operations across Sudan, South Sudan and Ethiopia. You will liaise with the Medical Department, coordinate with Operations, and guide field teams in medical planning and resource management.
You will oversee medico-operational strategies, monitor project indicators, and contribute to policy development while supporting field coordination and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Medical doctor or nurse required.
- Diploma in Tropical Medicine, Public/International Health or Epidemiology is an asset.
- Fluency in English required; French/Arabic an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Define medico-operational priorities to respond to emergencies or protracted crises.
- Advise Medical Coordinators and support the A/RP in the cell with technical expertise.
- Bring in Medical Department expertise to enable integrated work between Operations and Medical Departments.
- Plan medical resources in coordination with HR, Finance, Logistics and Supply.
- Monitor indicators, field visits and sitreps to propose project adjustments.
- Lead and participate in annual planning and mid-year reviews for resource alignment.
