Job summary

MÉDECINS SANS FRONTIÈRES (MSF) OCG in Geneva seeks a Deputy Program Manager (ARP) for Cell 4. You will guide operational planning, ensure timely, high-quality humanitarian actions, and support Heads of Mission with HQ coordination.

International travel is frequent, and the role reports to the Program Manager. Required are a university degree, MSF experience or similar; fluency in English and French; and strong strategic planning, negotiation and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• University-level degree in international relations, social sciences, medicine, public health, a paramedical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in humanitarian aid, ideally as an MSF Head of Mission or Emergency Coordinator.
• Familiarity with unstable contexts, crisis management and humanitarian programmes.

Responsibilities

• Steer operations planning and ensure timely, quality MSF assistance across missions.
• Support planning, resource mobilisation, programme monitoring, security and advocacy.
• Supervise and coach Heads of Mission; ensure HQ coordination and information flow.
