Job summary

Médecins Sans Frontières Suisse (MSF OCG) invites applications for the Deputy Program Manager (ARP) position based in Geneva. The role interfaces with missions and headquarters to ensure timely, high-quality MSF responses, maintaining visibility of programmes and helping to steer operations globally.

The ideal candidate will have a university-level degree in related fields, extensive humanitarian experience, fluency in English and French, and strong leadership, strategic planning and writing

Qualifications

• University-level degree or equivalent professional experience in international relations, social sciences, medicine, public health or related field.
• Experience in humanitarian aid, ideally in MSF or a similar organisation.
• Fluency in English and French mandatory; knowledge of a third language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure relevance, timeliness and quality of MSF’s assistance to populations in danger within a set of countries.
• Lead operations planning cycle and ensure MSF policies are translated into action.
• Identify and address key medical and humanitarian issues in each mission and project; define MSF’s position.
