CDDS (Counter-Drone Defense Systems) is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical components in SolidWorks and lead the hardware testing efforts for our high-speed interceptor drone.

You will run Python-driven tests, validate sensors, and calibrate parameters while prototyping with 3D printing. This fast-growing startup offers real-world impact and collaboration with a technically ambitious team near Zurich.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with industry experience.
• Ability to run and adapt Python scripts to drive sensor tests and log data.
• Strong SolidWorks skills (3D modelling, assemblies, drawings) and 3D printing prototyping.
• Hands-on prototyping experience; able to build what you design.
• Capable in fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment with long hours when needed.

Aufgaben

• Test and compare sensor components (IMU, camera, GPS) to choose best option.
• Run Python scripts to execute hardware tests and capture data.
• Establish calibration setups and parameters for sensors.
• Design and iterate mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks.
