CDDS AG in Zürich seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic hardware for our C-UAV platforms and own the overall electrical system architecture.

You will join a team responsible for all electrical subsystems for real-world drone deployments, including power management, sensors, communication links, and integration with mechanical and software systems. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware and embedded software development.

Qualifikationen

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with strong academics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Proficient in Python and/or C++ for embedded work.

Aufgaben

• Design and test electrical components for drones.
• Create PCBs for flight controllers, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Develop and code software for embedded systems and interfaces.
• Integrate sensors (IMUs, GPS, cameras, LiDAR) and calibrate.
• Implement reliable telemetry and data links.
• Test hardware under real-world conditions and environmental stress.
• Document designs and coordinate with mechanical/software teams.
