CDDS (Counter-Drone Defense Systems) is hiring a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design components in SolidWorks and lead hardware testing for our high-speed interceptor drones near Zurich. You will run Python-driven tests, validate sensors, and contribute to the selection of mission-critical parts.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with industry experience.
• Able to run and adapt Python scripts to drive sensor tests, log data.
• Strong SolidWorks proficiency and 3D printing prototyping.
• Hands-on prototyping experience; comfortable in a fast-paced startup.

Aufgaben

• Test and compare new sensor components (IMU, camera, GPS) to identify the best option.
• Run and adapt Python scripts to execute structured hardware tests, adjust parameters, and capture measurement data.
• Establish calibration set-ups and best parameters for various sensors.
• Design and iterate on mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks.
