CDDS is seeking a Drone Pilot & Operations Engineer to lead flight operations, pilot high-speed interceptor drones, and support field tests near Zurich. You will assemble, integrate, calibrate, and maintain UAV systems, and troubleshoot issues in the field and workshop.

In this fast-moving, hands-on startup, you should enjoy rapid prototyping, be comfortable outdoors, and travel frequently to test locations abroad and for customer demonstrations worldwide. Attractive compensation offered.

Your Mission

We are looking for an experienced Drone pilot & operations Engineer to:

• take ownership of flight operations and field tests
• support the integration and production of drone platforms
• help improve production and test workflows

We move at a high pace and priorities shift quickly. You should be comfortable building in an environment where the problem and responsibilities can change underneath you.

Qualifikation

Your Profile

We are looking for people who thrive in a fast paced start-up, on rapid prototyping, and hands-on flight testing. Implementing quick fixes and tests under pressure. Additionally, you are ready to travel to test locations abroad and be part of customer demonstrations all over the world.

Required

• Flight Experience with UAVs
• Experience assembling, integrating, calibrating, and maintaining UAV systems
• Strong practical and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working outdoors and conducting field tests
• Open to travel often

Nice to have

• Background in production, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly
• EASA drone certifications (A1/A3, A2, STS, or equivalent)
• Competitive robotics or UAV competition experience
• Driver's license
