There is an opportunity at BGC for a Marketing & Business Support Intern to join the team in our Nyon office for a period of 3 to 6 months.
The successful candidate will work closely with Business Development and various teams across the Group, providing day-to-day administrative and project support while contributing to a broad range of marketing, communication and business development initiatives.
The role will provide exposure to different businesses, desks and strategic projects across BGC. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a good understanding of our markets, clients and activities in order to contribute ideas on how BGC can strengthen the visibility and attractiveness of its businesses and projects.
This role is suited to a highly organised, creative and proactive individual who is comfortable combining administrative responsibilities with marketing and project-based assignments in a fast-paced international environment.

The Group combines deep market expertise, technology and an extensive global network to provide liquidity, market intelligence and execution solutions to institutional clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support to Business Development and the wider team.
- Assist with the coordination and follow-up of ongoing projects across different businesses and desks.
- Support the preparation, formatting and management of presentations, marketing materials, documents and internal communications.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve the visibility and attractiveness of BGC's businesses, projects and initiatives.
- Assist in identifying the most appropriate communication channels based on the Group's markets, activities and institutional client base.
- Support the development of content and communication initiatives across professional channels, including LinkedIn.
- Contribute to the presentation and positioning of new and existing Group initiatives, including projects related to technology, financial markets, energy and environmental markets.
- Assist with the development and improvement of websites, digital platforms and applications from a content, presentation and user-experience perspective.
- Participate in branding initiatives, including the development or evolution of visual identities, logos and marketing materials.
- Support the organisation and coordination of client events, corporate hospitality and other relationship-building initiatives.
- Assist with invitations, guest lists, logistics and internal coordination relating to client events.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify relevant communication trends, initiatives and opportunities.
- Liaise with different teams and stakeholders across the Group to ensure the effective delivery and follow-up of projects.Provide general administrative support where required.

Technical Skills

- An interest in branding, visual communication and digital user experience.
- Familiarity with website content management or digital platforms would be advantageous.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar would be advantageous.
- An interest in financial services, technology, energy or environmental markets would be advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken French.
- Good professional level of written and spoken English.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
