CFI SA in Schaffhausen seeks a Field Support Engineer – Manufacturing IT to provide hands-on IT support for critical manufacturing systems, ensuring reliability and performance in a highly regulated setting.

You will collaborate with local and global IT teams, manufacturing and laboratory professionals, contributing to system availability and continuous improvement while managing access, documentation and project-related IT activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Experience with manufacturing IT systems and MES platforms is a strong plus.
• Cloud knowledge: Azure and AWS.
• Fluent German and English communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day technical support for manufacturing and lab IT systems (MES, PAS-X, Antares, Track & Trace).
• Support configuration, updates, and lifecycle management.
• Investigate and resolve incidents with local and global IT teams.
• Ensure system availability and operational continuity with manufacturing and lab staff.
• Support IT activities related to projects, system changes, and OT integration.
• Manage user access, configurations and technical documents.
• Contribute to continuous-improvement for reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, EHS and SOX.
