Zusammenfassung

Syngenta's Muttenz site is seeking a temporary Manufacturing Excellence Manager to diagnose and transform production operations by embedding new ways of working and delivering breakthrough improvements in productivity and reliability.

You will deploy the Syngenta Production System (SPS), train leaders, coach teams, and build sustainable capabilities across sites while focusing on cost, throughput, and performance KPIs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Production, Maintenance, CI, or Operational Excellence.
• Proven track record of improving productivity, OEE, reliability, quality, or throughput.
• Hands-on with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, CI, Performance Management, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives in Chemicals, Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, FMCG, or process manufacturing.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose production operations and define implementation roadmaps for improvements.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence across sites.
• Train and coach employees and leaders on SPS standards and best practices.
• Support local teams in embedding sustainable ways of working.
• Promote data-driven performance management with KPIs and visual management.
• Collaborate with experts to deploy standardized tools, processes, and behaviors.
• Conduct SPS audits and provide improvement recommendations.
• Coach leaders and influence teams to deliver operational transformation.
