Syngenta Crop Protection in Muttenz is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers delivering capital projects and scalable production assets. You will translate molecule development into safe, cost-effective production, while supporting CAPEX portfolio execution at the Muttenz site.

The role sits at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing, requiring strong program management, stakeholder influence, and autonomous leadership in a complex environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master degree in energy transition or related engineering field.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage CAPEX projects from concept to mechanical completion.
• Embed and sponsor the Swiss Engineering Platform across projects.
• Integrate CAPEX efficiency elements into design and execution.
• Develop scopes of work, design basis docs, capital proposals, and schedules.
• Manage engineering contractors; ensure quality and compliance with Syngenta standards.
• Conduct post-project reviews and update standards/guidelines.
• Drive Project Sustainability Reviews to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste.
