Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team at Bevaix (S38) in Switzerland. The role focuses on coaching on the shop floor, driving improvements, and solving complex process and equipment problems, with potential expansion into Maintenance leadership as the position evolves.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong experience in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, industrialization, and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Expertise in structured problem-solving and risk analysis methodologies.
• Experience with IATF 16949 governed environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of automation, process validation, equipment qualification, tooling, and CAPEX projects.
• Experience with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and manufacturing performance analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of equipment and processes.
• Drive improvements to productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, EH&S, Supply Chain, Finance and R&D to develop and standardize manufacturing solutions.
