Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Tech to optimize shop-floor processes across our Bern, IN client site. You will study cycles, develop labor standards, and help set labor rates to improve efficiency and safety.

This role emphasizes CAD-driven workstation layouts, material-flow design, and the implementation of kanban systems. You will drive process improvements, cost analysis, and data-backed problem solving on manufacturing lines.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.
• Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems.
• Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write clear operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput.
• Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing.
